Flocculation tests in series with the Jar Tester

The optimal series stirrer for flocculation in the laboratory

In addition to our FlocSens application as a laboratory process with electronic evaluation of the flocculation results, our Jar Tester is an economical, manual method for flocculation control and optimization.

The flocculation can be monitored, controlled and optimised perfectly on four independent test stations. The quantity and size of the flocs can be optimally registered thanks to the integrated LED lighting with black background. The best possible type and quantity of flocs and flocculation agents can then be determined quickly.

In addition, the results can be reproduced at any time and compared well with the actual application in the process through the control of stirring speeds and times, plus the use of rectangular vessels and the special shape of the stirring blades.
